Hello everyone. How are you today? I hope all is well with you and your family. Two days ago, my wife and I harvested all the mangoes from our home garden for us to eat fresh, and also shared them with my wife's relatives. In our garden, we have many kinds of fruit that we plant for eating. Unlike many of the fruits we plnat in our longan orchard (which is located 600 meters from our house and focuses primarily on longan), we plant them simply to sell to middlemen. We have two jackfruit trees in our home garden. Of course, I planted them for eating the fruit and use it for cooking too. My over 3 years old jackfruit tree is bearing fruit now, but the over-1-year-old tree hasn't produced any yet. This year, our over 3 years old jackfruit tree is bearing more fruit than ever. And they are large and perfectly formed. These are some of our jackfruit from a tree that is over 3 years old.
This time we harvested two jackfruits from this tree, but my wife peeled and opened only one of them. It’s taking quite a bit of time to get this jackfruit peeled and opened apart. The flesh of the jackfruit during the rainy season has a sweet and subtly tart flavor. But it's so good and kids are huge fans of it. Another jackfruit was given to my wife's aunt living near our home.
There are still many jackfruits that aren't ripe yet. And we will gradually harvest them in the next few days. These are the stories and photos I want to share for this post. Invite everyone to see and enjoy my stories and photos. Please forgive any errors/mistakes. Have a great day. See you next time. Thank you for your support and visiting my post. Bye 🤗
