Simple, delicious, and budget-friendly restaurant in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

Hello everyone. How are you today? I hope all is well with you and your family. In this post, I will take you to a simple restaurant in my district. Many of you probably already know that the district I live in is Fang District, a large and developed rural district in the north of Chiang Mai Province, Thailand. There is a small, nameless local restaurant set up right in someone's front yard of the owner’s home in San Sai Subdistrict. It doesn't have a signboard, but it's very popular among the locals in the village and nearby areas. This restaurant was recommended to me. Therefore, I have taken my wife to dine here twice. The first time we visited around noon, it was so packed that we barely found a table, and more people kept arriving. On this second occasion, we arrived at approximately 11:00 AM while it was still quiet. Customers began arriving gradually after 11:40 AM.

I will show you the outdoor atmosphere of this restaurant first. It has a tranquil village setting, surrounded by lush and calm surroundings.

The indoor atmosphere of the restaurant is simple and unpolished, equipped with 10 dining tables and ceiling/floor fans. The kitchen has an open concept where customers can see the food being prepared.

Around 11:00 AM, the atmosphere is pretty quiet and not many people are here to eat yet.

Let’s take a look at the menu at this small restaurant. It offers only four dishes : noodle soup, chicken rice, khao soi (northern Thai curry noodles), and khanom jein (Thai Rice Noodles with Curry). Last time, we had khao soi (northern Thai curry noodles), and khanom jein (Thai Rice Noodles with Curry). But this time, we had noodle soup and chicken rice. Four menu from this restaurant are delicious, clean, and affordable.
