Hey everyone! I wanted to share a custom vector tattoo design I recently put together for a really meaningful forearm sleeve concept.
The goal with this project was twofold: refresh her forearm with a clean cover-up while blending in key personal details that represent her story. Every piece brought into this layout holds a special connection:
🎸The Electric Guitar & Blast: An electric guitar launching straight out of an atomic explosion to capture a fiery, high-energy love for music.
🎹 The Flowing Piano Keys: Swooping piano keys wrapped in musical notes and flourishes, bringing her favorite instruments together seamlessly.
🗺️ The Texas Map: Featuring the iconic state flag set against a burning background, repping her home state roots with bold style.
📅 The Year 2024: Nestled inside stylized slash marks with a heart detail in the center, marking the special year she started her relationship with her partner.
Designing vector artwork for skin requires balancing bold outlines, vibrant colors, and careful placement so the final piece flows naturally along the curve of the arm. It was such a fun piece to build out and bring to life.
