This is my first steem post! I just wanted to share a project I am working on. It's called Heavenswater. We make beer out of rainwater. This project started as I was working for a client called 'Amsterdam Rainproof'. They raise awareness about heavy cloudbursts that, due to climate change happen more often. These cloudbursts damage urban environments because there is no way the rain can escape all the concrete and bricks. While I was working on the project as a designer I was also brewing beer at home. What I noticed was that I was using lots of water in the process. It's about 4 to 5 litres to create 1 litre of beer. This triggered my imagination and the idea was born. Now we have brewed around 30.000 litres of rainwaterbeer and we are scaling up with more brewers who will produce the beer for us in different Dutch cities.
