I just found out about this as the doodle seems somewhat familiar.

Apparently, today, Google is "Celebrating Filipino Adobo."

Adobo is a very traditional and probably one of the most popular dish in the Philippines. There are a variety of ways to cook it and, not even regions, but probably each family has their own version of the Filipino Adobo.

Since the topic of Adobo is very interesting for me, a few months ago, I even made an article about it that you can find here:

I don't normally celebrate stuff but being the First Filipino Food featured in Google Doodle, this gives me a sort of pride as a Filipino. In the end, no one hates good food and every version of Adobo is nothing but good.

Also, it was regrettable that I found out about it too late. I immediately tried to find meat so I can cook one but it's really late right now that the stores are currently closed. Unfortunately, no meat, no Adobo. Better luck to me next year.
