We’re looking at 1:00a.m. in the central time zone and I just got back from caffetto@caffetto and threw together a late night gourmet mushroom taco dinner. Another stacked day today. Some school stuff with guthrie@guthrie, but the outstanding moment was facingsofficial@facingsofficial and mirrorpool@mirrorpool minting and distributing the Dark Pinup Viva packs. This is a mini set release spearheading by myself and felblob@felblob and I’m thrilled with how they turned out. The community is churning with enthusiasm and I love knowing that my work will most likely outlive me on the blockchain.

One of the cards in the Viva packs is of my longtime friend and Las Vegas muse, Lisa Del Toro. The card is titled, “Rustler”, and was shot this past April during Viva Las Vegas. Tonight, I decided to set down and edit another round of these photos at Red Kat Vintage on Main St. downtown. Lisa and I have shot together many times and she’s always one of my favorite people to spend time with. We also have a natural chemistry for creating together. Some of my most well known dark pinup photos have been with Lisa over the last decade.

This time, we shot at her friend’s vintage store. Our second shoot together was at Red Kate Vintage as well, but in another location. This was a new space and Lisa’s personal style has evolved to a cool, Southerwestern cowgirl esthetic. The space had gaint store front windows that let in light, but also a backroom and fitting room where I was able to create some mood with shadowy areas. Lisa is such an incredible talent that every pose she comes up with in front of the camera is gold.

I think there’s at least one more set still to come from this shoot at Red Kat. In a perfect world where I had more time, I could just edit every photo from all my shoots with Lisa. She’s a dream. For the rest of the night, I’m going to eat cantaloupe from the garden and get some God of War time in on my new Steam Deck. There’s some mirrorpool@mirrorpool and neverwel@neverwel art that needs inking, but that’s going to wait for tomorrow. I’m trying to get better about leaving a little bit of the day for myself. Good night!
