The Homestead Is Back Running Again + 2019 Steem Round Voting

Hey everyone! I hope all is well. It has been awhile since I have done a good homestead post due to the weather, but it is starting to look much better. So to bring you up to speed, the last 2 cows that we were waiting on finally gave birth within the last 2 ½ weeks. There was one little bull calf and one little heifer calf (the bull calf is shown below). They are up moving on their feet and doing well.

Also, I am not sure if you remember, but we have been dealing with torrential rains that prevented us from getting out garden out and it delayed us for several weeks. We were finally able to get the garden out a few weeks back. This includes our corn, green beans, black-eyed peas, lettuces, onions, etc. Similar to last year, we had just enough time to get them in the various plots. The goal is to still try to improve our yield by making some adjustments, so we still have some work to do and I am planning on doing a more in depth post about that later.

The final thing that I wanted to do was to let as many people know as possible that the voting has begun for the 2019 Steem Silver Round. They are taking a community vote and the design that receives the most votes will be the lucky winner. There are a lot of great looking designs and I would really appreciate it if you would head over and cast a vote.
