Waking up in the morning at 0700, it's cold out there. As I open the window, the cold morning breeze blows thru the window.

The water was iced cold but luckily, water heater is provided. We had out bath, ate the leftover from last night dinner, clean up the place and proceed to pack our stuff as we are getting ready to head back.
But before heading back, we decided to have tea at BOH Tea Centre at Sungei Palas. So off we go to Sungei Palas after we've done the necessary checking and fuel up our cars. Upon arrival as soon as we parked our car, we proceed to walk up to the tea centre as cars are not allowed to be driven up and had to be parked at the designated parking provided. The last time I was here, cars can be driven up but that was back in 98 or 99.
The Sungei Palas tea centre consists of a cafe, gallery, souvenir shop and tea plantation.

We order 2 pot of tea for the 6 of us. The weather is cold and the tea gets cold fast. Lucky for us, we can refill the pot with hot water.

After we had our fill of tea and snacks, we decided to head down to Ipoh thru Simpang Pulai way. So off we go for some hilly roads downhill with some nice corners along the way.
As it started to drizzle along the way down, we do not stop to take any pictures but the view nice along the way. Only stop when reach Simpang Pulai to wait for the others to arrive. We head to Pasir Pinji in Ipoh for our late lunch, unfortunately didn't had any photos taken due to my phone was out of juice.

We head back to KL after having our fill, just in time for the evening traffic. Everyone have fun this road trip and we're already talking about when is our next road trip. But still early to decide for now but it will be places with some nice driving roads as we all do love driving on the curves.
