Hello everyone!
I hope you all are doing well.
After wrapping up our 4th semester, my friends and I finally decided it was time for a well-deserved break. The semester had been full of assignments, quizzes, presentations and exams, so everyone was exhausted. We wanted one day where we could forget everything and just enjoy ourselves.
This time, we planned a road trip to Pipeline Track (Dunga Gali), Murree.

We were only 10 friends, and instead of booking transport, two of us brought our cars. So on 18th June, We met at COMSATS University Islamabad early in the morning, packed our bags, grabbed some snacks, and started our journey around 7:00 am.
The drive itself was already so much fun. We played our favorite songs, talked about random things, laughed over old memories, and enjoyed the peaceful morning roads.
On our way, we took a short stop at Nathia Gali to stretch our legs and enjoy the cool weather before continuing towards Pipeline Track.
The picture below isn't from this trip. I took it on another visit to Nathia Gali, but I wanted to share it because it beautifully captures what Nathia Gali looks like at night.
When we finally reached Pipeline Track (Dunga Gali), the fresh mountain air instantly made all the tiredness disappear. The weather was perfect, the views were breathtaking, and everywhere we looked was surrounded by beautiful green trees.
Of course, no trip is complete without taking hundreds of pictures. We explored different spots, enjoyed the scenery, and spent most of our time capturing memories that we'll probably keep looking back at for years.
Time flew by so quickly that before we knew it, it was already time to head back.
On our way home, we stopped at McDonald's Lower Topa, Murree for lunch. Just as we started eating, it suddenly began to rain. The rain made the entire view even more beautiful. Watching the mountains disappear behind the clouds while enjoying hot food was easily one of the best moments of the day.
Unfortunately, we couldn't stay there for long because we had promised to return to the university by 6:00 pm. As soon as we finished eating, we quickly got back into our cars and continued the journey.
Now came the funniest part of the trip.
Both cars decided to have a friendly race on the way back. Everyone was cheering for their own car, but in the end, Abdullah, who was driving one of the cars, won the race. Of course, the rest of us still insist that he only won because he got lucky.
As we got closer to Islamabad, we were treated to one last surprise. A beautiful rainbow appeared across the sky, making the perfect ending to an already unforgettable day.
By around 8:00 pm, everyone had safely reached home. We were completely exhausted after spending the entire day on the road, but every second of the trip was worth it.
Sometimes, all you need is one road trip with your favorite people to forget all the stress and recharge for whatever comes next.
Hope you enjoyed reading about our little adventure.
See you soon in the next post ❤️
