A few days ago, I decided to do a short front lever test. It wasn't a workout per se, more of a gentle check to see how my body would respond. At the time, I was still dealing with a lat injury, so I didn't want to push myself too hard. I limited myself to short, controlled attempts, paying attention to every sensation, every tiny pull or discomfort.

The photos I'm sharing today are from those moments: small attempts, snapshots of a process that's more internal than external. I wasn't looking to progress or break records; I just wanted to reconnect with the movement, to feel it again without fear. It was strange, but also comforting. Sometimes the body needs us to listen to it without demanding anything of it.

I wondered how good it felt. There was no pain, just that natural tension of the front lever that I love so much. Although I'm not yet at 100%, this test gave me confidence. It reminded me that progress doesn't always mean going harder, but also knowing when to ease off.
