Today I tried the NZ Ironman cycle route for the first time. From Lake Taupo township to Reporoa and return. The actual race does this loop twice.
This little town had a small shop, a takeaway, perfect, an egg burger before heading back.
It was a long time in the saddle on a hot day, I took a small detour to replenish my hydration.
