Yesterday was the day I decided to replace my broken Mongoose Workhorse. Now Upon entering The EVO Cycles shop I really wasn't too concerned on what Brand, Drive Chain gearing, etc. Just a entrance level hardtail MTB, size L, and I can take it home after purchase ie ready assembled demo on the shop floor.
After around 40mins there was a couple of bikes that I was interested and approached a salesperson, settling on the Polygon Cascade 4. There was a coupe of things I didn't like but I will change as soon as I got home. Which mainly needed me to self fitout and replace the stock STEM to suit my riding style. Can't stand knobbly tires but hey, came with the bike. These will definitely be replaced soon.

And of course, we must have a light set for those times I ride late.
Note, I asked for 2 tubes for the 29x2.25 tyres for the ride home, surprisingly they didn't have any LoL so I rode home anyway and ordered a pack of 5 from there website.
Today is officially my maiden ride (even though yesterday I rode it home from the shop 17km, doesn't count). Nothing too hard, all tarmac around my suburb. Shocking time but I wasn't too concerned.

It's very noticable now many Electric-Bikes are now being ridden out there. I still doubt I'll ever get one. Anything that relies on Batteries as its prime energy source is a bad investment, that includes cars.
Feeling good, the start of a new beginning, and time to get those km's up!
PS: need a crash course on bleeding the brake system.
