My year started on a turbulent note, and that was with my accommodation and office space. The landlord became a psycho and wanted everyone to leave the block without any concrete reason. The issue went to court, and we were called to court every now and then.
Sorting for another accommodation on that urgent note was hell and costly as well. So at the beginning of the year, I didn't set a big goal; I just wanted to survive the stress by getting a new, affordable apartment for my home and office too(workshop). It was like starting afresh because I was going to rent an apartment that was twice or thrice costlier to the one I was occupying, the same thing was applicable to my workshop. Not only this, I was going to a different location entirely to start afresh. So it was just a fresh start with fresh big challenges.
House rent has been very expensive in the city I reside in. That January, I searched for houses to rent, and I couldn't believe the prices. It was at that moment that I wished I had the money to build my own house and opt out of renting houses. It was so bad and difficult, but I had no option but to rent at the exorbitant price. Miraculously for me, I saw a house and a shop not far from where I lived. So it was more like I didn't move from the area at all.
So that's it, the year has been spent on the settlement process, from one area to another.
So far, so good. Things have been moving well, although a lot of money has been spent and I'm still spending. I'm gradually getting settled, and the patronage for my business has been fair.
Like this, I'm not just worrying too much or about setting other goals that will put me under pressure. I just wanna breathe and grind slowly.
Thanks for reading.
