First of all, I don't take alcoholic drinks, and I don't look at people that take such beverages as bad people. Nah!
I just love to sip a sweet soft drink whenever I go out, either alone or with friends, and that particular drink I love to take is Malta Guinness.

I can't count the number of times I've been intimidated and mocked by friends whenever I order a malt drink on an outing.
I was mocked with many words and names such as:
"You're behaving like a woman."
"Kingsley is a Reverend."
"Pastor!"
"You're a weakling."

I became used to it and I don't get angry whenever my friends start bantering me, pushing for me to change to alcohol because "it doesn't kill"

If I'm the type that's easily influenced by friends, I would have opted out of this drink for alcoholic drinks, but no, I'm hard to convince.
At a time, I began to wonder whether it's an abomination for a guy to stay off alcohol, because everyone around me saw it so, but in all these, I never switched to alcohol; I was still vibing with my Malta.

One would think I always go for malt drinks because of my religious life. No, that isn't it at all. Don't we have Christians taking alcohol? Of course we have, and I have a lot of them around me.
Not taking the 'normal' drinks(alcohol) of an average guy in my country is just a personal preference and decision for me.

Why Malta Guiness?

I love drinks that are sweet, and Malta Guiness is one of them, and it has a little bit of bitter taste filtered in.
Its taste is far superior to other soft drinks in the same category, and the price is almost the same as theirs.

I remember a certain year when my friends teamed up to get me drunk on Malta Guiness in a bid for me to start hating the drink. That night, they paid for countless bottles (25 cl) of Malta Guinness drink, and these bottles occupied every single space on my table.
I was so excited to see my favourite drink in good numbers on my table, so I began to gulp from the bottle directly to my throat, and before I knew it, four bottles were down. I continued but couldn't exceed six bottles because my stomach was filled with no single space.
They laughed at me badly that day, but I never changed; I still continued with the Malta vibe on the subsequent outing.
