English Version

Two beings, two species,
an inseparable pair,
an unbreakable bond,
difficult it is to describe our relationship,
it is not the simple dependence of master and servant,
it is rather something charged with emotion,
there is affection, there is love,
there are feelings in the heart,
he understands me and although I do not understand how,
he perceives my sadness, he perceives my pain
and is not indifferent, he comforts me with his love,
sometimes it would seem that of my soul he knew
all the affliction, the joy, the sadness
and any disturbance,
I notice it upon seeing how he approaches,
how in his gaze reflects understanding
and how he throws himself playfully
when happiness overflows my heart,

difícil es de describir nuestra relación,

es más bien algo cargado de emoción,

el me entiende y aunque yo no entiendo como,
percibe mi tristeza, percibe mi dolor
y no es indiferente me conforta con su amor,
a veces pareciera que de mi alma conociera
toda la aflicción, la alegría, la tristeza
y cualquier perturbación,
lo noto al ver como se acerca,
como en su mirada refleja comprensión
y como se avienta juguetón
cuando de felicidad reboza mi corazón,
mi amigo, mi amigo y yo,
así somos nosotros dos,
dos seres diferentes,
una alianza, una unión.
