Hello friends,
How are you all? Today, I am sharing a post in this community for the first time. I hope you all will like it.
Today, the temperature ranged from 45 to 47 degrees Celsius. I observed the squirrels in my garden behaving very strangely. They were running around as if in great distress, darting across the ground and climbing up and down trees seeking relief. I had never seen them so restless and agitated.
The scorching heat had a severe impact on them. They were frantically moving, sometimes pausing to drink water, but even then, their discomfort was evident. It seemed as if the intense heat was causing them unbearable stress. Watching these little creatures struggle in the extreme weather was both alarming and heart-wrenching.
In this heat, it’s crucial to think about the animals and birds around us. Providing water sources in our gardens or balconies can be a small yet significant step in helping them cope with the extreme temperatures. I placed a few water bowls around the garden and noticed that the squirrels and birds would frequently come to drink.
I hope you all will also keep water and some food in your yards for the birds. Thank you for reading my post. I hope it resonates with you and inspires you to extend a helping hand to our furry and feathered friends during such harsh conditions.
