I hope everybody is doing well today. I was doing some food delivery today, but the application bugged out on me to I was unable to carry out any orders. What a bummer. My sister's car will be in the shop, so I have been unable to go anywhere far. My friend Nick invited me out to the drifting tracks today, but I was too exhausted to wake up and go to Apple Valley. His brother Jared had spent the day drifiting, and it seems there will be another event on April the 22nd. I'll look forward to going to the tracks then.
I've been craving burgers and fries recently. I need to go shopping for food this week. I should be focusing more energy on my classes as they begin today. It looks like Foothill will be giving students a Linux environment with SSH. How convenient. It'll be a good time to close down my DigitalOcean server. Only two of my classes are currently available. It was interesting to see people introduce themselves on the class forum.
One of the classes I've been interested in, Bash Shell Scripting, should be interesting. I still remember the first time someone sent me a shell bash was when I was finding the right commands to get my Sibcoin masternode started. This was only last year. Bash shell scripting is a useful tool to manipulate Linux or other open source packages with. My other opened class was for SQL. It looks like the professor wants the students to use MySQL. This isn't my favorite database manager, but I suppose it's the most popular one.
Tomorrow, I have to wake up and get my sister's car towed to the shop. A third party shop was offering $1600 to fix the Camry's transmission. The Toyota dealer quoted us up to $5000. Lets see how this goes tomorrow.
