Hello friends馃暫,
Thanks for dropping by.
Work started for me today at a client鈥檚 office, by the time I was do I was toast. The weather was very hot, couple with that there was heavy traffic going to my office due to a broken down truck. I had to head home from the next bus stop because it looked like taking the option of going to the office might see me reaching the office by 4pm.
At home I prepared chicken sauce to eat with the jollof rice in the freeze, it tasted so good I had to do a post about it and you can read up on that in the link below:
I took a long walk with my friend in the early evening and went to a barbeque beef spot to enjoy ourselves and pass time. I walked to the bus stop where he could catch a ride home before I walk my way home.
My song of choice today was playing at the barbeque spot where my friend and I went to relax a bit. The song titled Ada Ada by Flavour is a traditional wedding song, it show most of the energy, time and resources that goes into organizing a traditional wedding in the east part of Nigeria. O many cultural stuff goes are done before the lady is allowed to go with the proposed husband. Where I come from a young man can鈥檛 just tell a young lady I love you marry me. Nah.
The lady accepts but tells you to come and see her parents, now you don鈥檛 just go and see her parents, you go and tell your own parents that you have seen the lady you want to marry, a date is fixed and your people go with you st see her people and if her people ask her if she gives the go ahead for them to accept your people them discussions start. It really brings back a lot of good memories, maybe someday I鈥檒l do a post about Igbo traditional marriage, that is if someone doesn鈥檛 do it before I finally do. Lol. Please enjoy the song.

I took a walk in the early evening to buy some stuff for the house and later I took another walk to get some fresh air and cross the 5 k mark.
That is it for my people, do have a lovely night rest.
