Okay, so my Sis @silversaver888 wanted me to post what I had for breakfast today. It's more like dinner having just got home from my Night Shift work on my Health Unit. I grew up among Asian neighbors and now I live among even more Asians.
An Asian meal in a bowl. Basically made from leftover ingredients from the fridge and cupboard.
I have two different types of aging Chinese Bok Choy, one leftover green onion, a few baby carrots, dry Japanese shrimp noodles, egg, and a wiener.
Two small pots; one pot just to heat up a clear chicken stock soup base.
The other pot half filled with water bought up to a boil for cooking, adding a pinch of salt and a 2 to 3 ml squirt of sesame oil if desired.
Cook the weiner and noodles (to desired softness and may depend on what type of noodles) and place into a large warm bowl.
Cook the bokchoy brief for no more than 5 minutes, carrots just heated up likewise to save spare the nutritional value and preserve the dark green color then arranged onto the bed of noodles.
Crack the egg into the hot water to poach until the whites are firm but you may like to removed the egg sooner for a runnier yolk, then arrange the egg on the noodle bed just how the Koreans like it.
To finish, add the clear soup base into the bowl then the chopped green onions, pepper to garnish.
