When 2021 commenced, Amanda made some new year resolutions, one of which was to eat healthy and exercise more. Due to work schedules, she lapsed and ate more junk food. Now she realised January is almost coming to an end and she has failed in her goal to live healthier.
I bet some of us are like Amanda. You know what? It is still okay!
Failing is not the end and the world has not ended yet, lol! A lapse in your resolutions should not make you stop altogether or give up on them. You ought to keep trying until you attain your goals.
Remember, there are still eleven months to go before the year wraps up again. How about you start working on those resolutions now?
You know what? Don't do them at all once!
Do not struggle or stress yourself to work on many goals or fight to change your lifestyle at once. To ensure you keep those resolutions, focus on one goal or resolution at a time. It becomes easier that way and your attention would not be divided.
Also, involve a friend or family member in your resolutions to keep you accountable. Such person will be like your cheerleader, checking up on you, making sure you focus on your goal and achieve success.
Winston Churchill said,
Success is not final, failure is not fatal. It is the courage to continue that counts.
Have the courage to keep to your resolutions and continue them. Before the year ends, you'll see yourself achieving a lot.
Have a great day!
