Losing your hair does not mean balding. Everyone has a hair loss and that does not stop many people from seeing a good hair. In normal conditions we lose between twenty and fifty hairs a day and nothing happens, because they are reborn with the same rhythm they return and those that remain grow about 0.4 millimeters of average in the same time.

The fundamental problem of those who suffer from alopecia is not that they fall off their hair, but that they do not replace their fallen hair. In these cases, when the hair follicle dies and ceases to be productive, it is when extreme measures are necessary to avoid losing hair that can hardly be replaced.

The causes of hair loss are very variable and it is only in our hands to avoid some of them. As we all know, the physical and emotional state of a person affect their health and also that of their hair. Poor diet or excessive stress can cause us to become bald.

Little can be done if the problem is hereditary, since our genes will be "programmed" to make us bald. On the other hand, age carries a generalized alopecia. It is estimated that after the forties we have half of the follicles we had at birth.
