My country, Myanmar have a kind of archaeological ancient place. Today, I am going to share about "Bagan ancient city". Bagan is one of them famous old city in Myanmar such as the Anurada ancient city and Poronaruwa old city in Sri Lanka. Bagan is a beautiful ancient city. Long period of kingdom had been ruled by kings. The origin of Bagan city have appeared collect by 19 villages from King Samuddara. He started Bagan city's from AD 107 to AD 1368 in period of long time ago. It is 1261 years long time.
Bagan ancient city had been ruled by 58 kingdom from King Samuddara until King Saw Mon Nit. If we will mention about Bagan city, we have to understand a king of two part. There are one from AD 107 to AD 1044 and other one from AD 1044 to AD 1368. The earliest kingdom had not real Theravada Buddhism in Bagan. It had appeared with Mahayana Buddhism as well as non real Theravada Buddhism at the ancient part of city of Bagan. Theravada Buddhism is became from Anawratha Kingdom about AD 1044. These are real Buddhism and non real Buddhism or a king of two part at the Bagan ancient city in Myanmar.
Sri lanka ancient city
At the time, the kingdom of Bagan city and Poronaruwa city had seamed period from AD 11 to AD 13 century in Sri Lanka. The first kind of Kingdom was by Vizayabahu kingdom after attach King Sawlu who came from India. This Vizayabahu kingdom has ruled from AD 1055 to AD 1110. He supported to Buddhism temples, images, Pagoda, food, place and so on. After that second kingdom of Parakkamabahu appeared from AD 1153 to AD 1186. This kingdom has more development and support well, lake, dam, country and religion specially Buddhism justice. Now a day we can see those religious building and Parakamabahu dam and etc. Therefore, Nissankamalla kingdom ruled from AD 1187 to AD 1196. The period kind of kingdom was called golden period Poronaruwa kingdom in Sri Lanka state.
Bagan city and Buddhism
After attach to King Cukkatay, King Anawratha who published the first Myanmar united state AD 1044. Not only but also he started Theravada Buddhism with Venerable Shin Arahan. when he is kingdom at the Bagan city, concern with Mahayana Buddhism more development and govern among the people. But, King Anawratha doesn't like them in his mind. But he have seen Venerable Shin Arahan and he changed everything this evil rule and action to real peace Buddhism. He had more supported economic to country and also donated to Sangha temples, place, well, food and other. King Anawratha kingdom 34 from AD 1044 to AD 1078 in Bagan city.
