We’re from Cavite, so going to Bataan isn’t exactly a quick little ride for us. 😂 But if there’s one thing we both enjoy, it’s taking the motorcycle out and going on long rides just to see somewhere new.
And this time, our road took us all the way to Mt. Samat, Bataan.
There’s something different about traveling by motorcycle. You feel the changing weather, the cold mountain air, the curves of the road, and every little scenery along the way. Sometimes the ride itself becomes just as memorable as the destination.
After the long journey from Cavite, finally seeing the Shrine of Valor and the huge cross standing on top of Mt. Samat made the trip worth it.
Walking around the area, we saw the old artillery pieces and the 155-mm gun battery display, reminders of the battles and sacrifices that happened here during World War II. Seeing those things up close gives you a different kind of appreciation for the history we usually only read about in books.
Then there’s the view. ❤️
Standing on the mountain and looking down at the vast landscape of Bataan was probably one of my favorite parts of the trip. The green mountains, trees, fields, and the wide horizon made the long motorcycle ride feel completely worth it.
We took pictures, walked around, enjoyed the scenery, and just had one of those simple days that you know you’ll remember later.
Maybe that’s why we love riding motorcycles.
It’s not always about reaching the destination quickly. Sometimes it’s about the road, the unexpected views, the conversations along the way, the tiredness when you finally arrive, and that feeling of **“We actually made it here.”🏍️❤️
From **Cavite to Bataan, another long ride checked off our list.
Another place discovered.
Another story added to our memories.
And definitely… another reason to plan the next long ride. 😍🏍️
