Hello, Hive Friends all over the world!

Before starting my main work today, I would like to share another update about my chicken feeding side hustle. As some of you may know, the chickens are owned by my neighbor, and one of my side hustles is helping feed and care for them. Yesterday, during my short break, I visited the yard to check on the chickens, give them fresh water, and make sure everything was fine. As usual, I also took some random photos while observing them.

During my visit, I checked on one of the female chickens that had been laying eggs for the past few days. It has been exciting to see new eggs appear, and I always look forward to checking them whenever I visit. However, I noticed something unusual. The hen had eaten some of her own eggs. At first, I just observed the situation, but when it happened again, I became worried that more eggs would be lost if I left them there.

Because of that, I decided to take action. I immediately collected the remaining eggs and placed them in a DIY incubator that I had already prepared. The idea came from several videos I watched on YouTube. After learning from those tutorials, I gathered the available materials I needed and built a simple homemade incubator. This is my first time trying a project like this, so I am both excited and curious about the outcome. I know there is still a lot for me to learn, but I am hoping the eggs will develop properly and eventually hatch into healthy chicks.

What started as a simple task of feeding chickens and providing water has now become a new learning experience. Through this side hustle, I am not only caring for the chickens but also discovering new things about egg incubation and chick production. For now, I will continue monitoring the eggs and checking the incubator regularly. Hopefully, I can share some positive results and good news in the coming weeks.

Thank you for taking the time to read my update. Have a wonderful day, Everyone, and see you in my next blog!
