Today the EU citizens were called to vote for their country representatives.
I have always believed that we need a voice, and when we are given this opportunity, we should take advantage of it.
Maybe you will think that one vote is nothing, but it has taken many centuries for us to have this right. So we need to take this amazing opportunity and express ourself though the secret act of voting.
I am voting to a village called Anopolis. It is a very typical, Cretan village. I have not visited it all, and i hope to do it soon.
Nonetheless, i took some photos for today!
Anopolis means “High City” and it is located on a mountain. This is the view from high above. Sure you recognize the islet.

I walked a few meters and I saw a broken window and a tired cat, next to an abandoned house, where nature has prevailed

As I go down the road I see some nice, whitely painted houses

It operates at night and there is also live music some nights
