It was an Easter weekend full of beer and social!

Booooom there is your long weekend. Here, have tons of free time and decide for yourself what you will be doing with it! Then it is always time to go for the first thought, and celebrate that it is a long weekend by heading out for a beer. I mean, there is always a reason for getting a beer somewhere with some good people right?

One of the first places we headed out to was a local place called 't Krut where the owner has just started a couple of months ago with his own place. Ofcourse he is selling a couple of the most obvious beers which always do good, but apart from that he is also brewing his own and trying to make a brand of it, which we can all only support.

The dude was telling that he wants to get a bigger place with a bigger terrace to brew and also sit in the sun and I guess we all most endorse that idea...as that is what you always would want right? Beers in the sun and done!

So apart from his own home brewing stuff which almost had a autumn like taste in there (he said the weather had sucked so bad recently it had felt better to make a more darker one, than a light blond in this season, and honestly that sounds reasonable), there was also this Zeeuws blond which is an absolute banger and never a bad idea to get.

The next one in line is this Boerentrots beer from brewery t Meuleneind which actually a fun gimmick at the moment. The literal translation of 'boerentrots' is 'farmers pride' which a big thing at the moment in Holland with all these farmer protests that have been going on for the last moments.

I won't get too deep on that because it is a really delicate subject, but let us say that a beer with the idea to raise awareness is never a bad thing actually.

Moving on to a different day with different vibes and different beers this is also one of the local favorites. In the old industrial heart of Eindhoven called Strijp-S there is a brewery called 't Veem this is also a really decent place to hang out for a bit and get a couple of rascals. This is an old building where all kind of micro shops have their base. But they also change a lot unfortunately because business is not always that good.

But this one is also never a bad one and especially accompanied with some good comversations about AI and ChatGPT and Bing about how this will all change the future, I must say it was a really decent Easter weekend.

Now on Easter monday I already saw the traffic jams towards the furniture shops and the car shows which is apparently a tradition which I always wonder why you would be wanting to go on this specific day, but that is also a whole different story.

People are animals of the herd it seems, and I am also one as well. Is that a bad thing? Nehhhh, it aint!
