21 September, the end of Summer, the beginning of the Autumn. My least favorite season of the year is starting with a real 'Sommerabschluss' as we call it here in Switzerland. It will be a nice mid 20 degrees Celsius in Lucerne and Holland it is still real beach weather today. Sint Martin is having the passing of hurricane Jerry today which is looking as not a real treat luckily. Yeah, I still check weather at all the places I call or haved called 'home'
I am not entirely sure why I don't like autumn, and I am noticing that a lot of people disagree with me on this. In my mind autumn is a combination of fog and dark weather with ice cold drizzle the whole time, while others only see the beautiful changing color of the leaves on all trees. This is surely not the case as I was just sitting on the roof of the hospital in the sun with the burning sun on my face. But autumn is always a phase of boredom and transition that seems to take forever. Normally I would try to take some vacay in like September, which would mean that I would be out of days in October and I would have to full on grind through the whole month. Actually this year isn't that much different, I will still be grinding through October, but November will give me a nice break with going to #steemfest in Thailand. This will be something nice to hold on to when the fog kicks in when all sparks slowly go out
I have been having a good posting vibe this week. Not posting daily but all posts have made a ton of author rewards, which is not really what I normally have, and I am super greatfull for it that some high rollers appreciated the stuff I had written. Maybe #newsteem will be the game after all, after as I had written in my 'Accumulate, the time is now post' what I wasn't sure about that this would be the deal. For now, I really can not complain.
I have been hunting for my Steemfest airline tickets which seems to be a bit complicated because of different departure locations, a couple of days down South before heading to Steemfest, and different return tickets to different locations. It's too complicated to explain but I can tell you it is kind of a puzzle which hopefully not end up costing a whole mortgage. Better said: I am making sure that that isn't happening, period.
For now....I am going to sit my ass in the sun for as long as it lasts, and think of all the beauty that is coming up. Keeping the mind fresh! Happy weekend y'all!
