Happy day to all. I used to know jute fabric as sackcloth. This type of fiber was a bit underrated and less sold in any store, or at least where I lived for years. But everything has changed, including the use to which jute fabric is put. The variety of decorations that can be made with this material is infinite and can be seen in social networks, from flowers, bows, bags and so on.

Pero todo ha cambiado, incluso el uso que se da a la tela de yute. La variedad de adornos que se pueden hacer con este material es infinita y se puede ver en las redes sociales, desde flores, moños, bolsas pare de contar.

If what we are looking for is to move faster in our Christmas projects, this may be the ideal accelerator. We cut a circle out of raw cardboard and remove what might represent about two-eighths of it. Roll it up on itself and glue with hot silicone to form a cone.

Si lo que buscamos es avanzar con mayor velocidad en nuestros proyectos navideños, éste puede ser el acelerador ideal. Cortamos un círculo en cartón crudo y retiramos lo que podría representar dos octavos aproximadamente. Enrollamos sobre sí mismo y pegamos con silicón caliente para formar un cono.

Cut a piece of jute ribbon and roll it diagonally starting from the tip of the cone towards the widest part. We glue at the base, at the tip and at the junction of the outer ones. Then trim the excess to even out at the base.

Cortamos una porción de cinta de yute y enrollamos de forma diagonal empezando por la punta del cono hacia la parte más amplia. Pegamos en la base, en la punta y la unión de los externos. Luego recortamos el sobrante para emparejar en la base.

Wrap the jute cord around the Christmas tree and glue it with hot silicone. This is the part that will cost us the most because we have to do it quickly, before the silicone dries, but as carefully as possible to avoid getting burned.

Enrollamos el cordón de yute alrededor de la espera navideña y vamos pegando con silicón caliente. Es la parte que más nos va a costar pues hay que hacerlo rápidamente, antes de que se seque el silicón, pero con el mayor cuidado posible para no quemarnos.

On a cardboard we draw some wings and cut them out. Then we glue jute tape on both sides of the cardboard and apply silicone on the edge of the wings. We cut off the excess. We cut some smaller wings out of fabric. I used silver fabric. We placed it on top of the jute fabric and glued it.

En un cartón dibujamos unas alas y las recortamos. Luego pegamos cinta de yute de ambos lados del cartón y para ello aplicamos silicón en el borde de las alas. Recortamos el excedente. Recortamos unas alas más pequeñas en tela. Utilicé tela de color plata. La colocamos encima de la tela de yute y pegamos.

I glued the jute ball on the cone and the wings on the back, just above the junction of the fabrics. I made a small halo with a silver chenille rod and what over the head of the angel. A very cute ornament that we can't miss. Pegué la bola de yute sobre el cono y las alas en la parte de atrás, justo sobre la unión de las telas. Realicé una pequeña aureola con una varilla de chenille plateado y lo que sobre la cabeza del ángel. Un adorno muy tierno que no puede faltarnos.
