Ecency is my first love on Hive, the very first frontend I was introduced to when I joined Hive. What made it easy for me was the simplicity of the way it was designed. It's like the developers had the interest of newbies when they designed the app. So far, after exploring different frontends, I always run back to ecency at the slightest difficulty I face when trying to write a post or reply to comments.
I remember when I used a different frontends and couldn't find the draft, I almost cried and wished I had used ecency because I know that no matter what happens, it automatically saves the draft just in case so you don't loose what you worked so hard to formulate.
When I first learned about waves, which was a few months ago, I was so happy because I never knew that Hive had anything like microblogging. Since I discovered waves, I've made a lot of interesting friends there, chatting, sharing pictures, and just discussing random topics and having fun. Wave is one amazing feature that I love on ecency, and I always enjoy sharing what I'm doing, my feelings, the weather, and sometimes what I cook, and I get interesting engagement from there.
Learning about waves has increased my consistency on Hive and also my engagement with the platform generally. I was happy when I saw my name on the ecency championship board between numbers 1 and 5 for a period of time. It really shows how consistent I've been on the app.
Now, there's a new discovery, which I would also like to share because some people asked what else they could do with their points apart from promoting post.
Now, this is interesting, and I was mesmerized when I learned that my points can be used to boost my HP. This means I will get a delegation from ecency through my points
From where you claim your points, click and choose the boost option. Select the period of time this is from seven days to 30 days and the points will be removed while you receive a delagion to boost your HP for the time period chosen.
Currently, I'm on a 30-day delegation from ecency, and this is one way I love using my points. That's why I'm always engaging to accumulate more points.
Ecency is the best frontend for me and the first place I always direct newbies to because it's so simple to understand even to a layman
I hope this post is helpful to you. Hugs from your friend @kachy2022 馃А
