Sunny Days and Shadows - Shadows Hunters Smash Round Contest 447
A beautiful new week to you all my friends. We are gradually approaching dry season and each day the sun intensifies causing more heat and skin rashes. There's also a spread of some airbone diseases which is common in dry season. I've noticed some kids with red eye some to buy stuffs from my store. I try as much as possible not to maintain eye contact for a long time so as not to be affected.
So this weeks shadows were captured around my store, and I noticed one of the pictures I captured some days ago when I was cutting from a very big yam in my kitchen.
That particular yam resulted in lots of conversations from customers and passersby. It was so huge like a 3-headed yam that anyone who saw it asked where we got it and how much. Some even asked if it was for sale because they yam was very big. They were two, but the other wasn't as big as his particular yam. I decided to give it to my mum but when I waited and my sisters keep giving excuses of not having time to come pick it up, I cut it open after I had finished cooking the other one.
I love yam and I didn't hesitate to eat it when they didn't come for it. I already cooked it twice before my nephew came to pick it up on Sunday. I gave them some other food items as well, and Mum called later to thank me when she received the items.
This week, I'm trying to start a writing streak for a week (7 days). I hope I'm able to achieve my goal and get back to being consistent in writing.
These are my shadow entries for this week. I hope you like them. The weather is hot lately, and I hope to hunt more awesome shadows for next week.
This is my entry for the #shadowhunters #contest round 447. See you on the next round.....
