There is a song by Pearl Jam called Just Breathe, I used to listen to it a lot, but over time I forgot about it, I guess to start listening to new songs, but recently out of nowhere began to play on Youtube, and I mentally teleport me completely, has it ever happened to you? Well anyway That song made me think about many things, and in fact that's why I titled this post that way, although it is a song of Love says several things that are very true.

I have spent a lot of time in my life feeling quite sad, not because I don't want to but because something inside my brain is not working well, due to different situations as mentioned in different publications I suffer from depression, I am not currently using medication for different reasons that maybe I will tell you later, which makes the depressive crises to be sometimes quite strong.

With time I have learned to handle it a little, and also understand that I am not alone in this, although sometimes my mind makes me believe that I am, always thinking that the mind has a lot of power, it is much stronger than our body because in fact it controls it, and I have experienced firsthand how my mind has made me feel physically weak.

Depression is not something that is only fashionable today, no, depression is a clear sign that our body is imperfect and that there are things in it that we can not control on our own, and it is a plague today, because it steals life and more and more people suffer from it.

What does all this have to do with the song I mentioned at the beginning? It has everything to do when we are on the floor without being able to breathe well due to crying, we forget something so simple how to breathe, and I am not talking about breathing exercises that we are recommended to do to calm down in moments of crisis, I am talking about the deep part of breathing.

We are all very burdened by different things, I have to thank them all because yes, and when we are in crisis we understand in a desperate way to stop being so at the same time that our mind works in one against us, sounds exhausting right? It is, to the point that we literally can't think straight and we say or do things we don't really want to.

This is something we will have to live with because yes, life is getting more stressful all the time, and society demands that we give everything of ourselves until we are left with nothing, but how different would it all be if we had to breathe? But again, the deep part of this word. Not to force ourselves mentally forcing ourselves to do what we "must do."

Stopping to just do that, breathing will help us to be able to stand up, maybe not today or tomorrow, but in less time than usual, let's not let our body and mind collapse to stop to just breathe, without doing more, without thinking more and without stressing more, there will always be time for that, this time, just breathe.
