Chickens

I had to chuckle a little going back and looking at all the photos I took of my wife's chickens. Maybe a little suprisingly these photos have done remarkably well at Stocksy. Who knew you could make almost $1,000 off a few chicken photos over the years. When I would announce a sale to my wife, she'd usually say that in reality it's "her money", since she was the one who took care of them.😀

I really like this photo. The light from the outside illuminated her face really well, and the dark background of the hen house makes her stand out. We had a lot of beautiful hens. I'm sure my wife would give you bonus points for identifying this breed of hen. I'll be honest and say I'm not sure, although my guess would be Spotted Sussex.

I like to think of politics and pecking order when I see this photos. Maybe "like" is a strong word when paired with the word "politics", but doesn't it make you think of that a little? Now just ask yourself, which one is Pelosi and who is McConnel?
