Hello friends of Weekend Experiencie. It is a pleasure to present my first post in this community and to do so by offering my opinion on The Topic: Have you experienced unconditional love and how did it affect your life? Explain Why.
I have been very fortunate to have been accompanied throughout my life by a family to whom I owe much of who I am. Each one of the members of my closest family has given me their love and in a special way, in my parents I have found an unconditional love that has undoubtedly marked my personal development. Something that has always impressed me about them, and that I owe them infinite gratitude, is the mixture of love and demands that they have made on me so that I can become a better person.
I could exemplify with multiple situations the experiences I am referring to, but it would be a never-ending story. Each small act that you have carried out both in your role as parents and as human beings is a sign of infinite and unconditional love. I must admit that as a child I did not understand many of these actions and there were even times when I thought that you did not love me just because I could not understand that educating with love also means setting clear limits whose only intention was to protect me. I have come to understand this in adulthood and I don't think I have ever thanked you enough.
Now I understand that what I once interpreted as unfair refusals to my requests or the rigor with which I was required to study or comply with certain values when it came to behaving have been some of the greatest signs of love I have ever received. Many times I heard the phrase: "let him cry before I cry" and I did not understand it. It was impossible to associate that behavior with an act of love.
However, as I have grown up I have realized that my parents have been a school for me as a human being. They have taught me the value of hard work and sacrifice to obtain favorable results in life: they have educated in me qualities such as perseverance, humanism, having family as the center of your life above all things. For all this and for much more that I cannot express in words, I will be eternally grateful to them. They have undoubtedly been the best example of unconditional love that I have been able to witness.
