Hola amigas y amigos de Family and Friends.
Que fuimos a hacer all铆? Se presentaba un amigo, podemos decirlo as铆.
Llegamos all铆 y juntamos varias mesas.
Hello friends of Family and Friends. It's been a while since I've been to places with a bohemian vibe, to spend some time with friends, coffee and "clean guitar".
This kind of places was one of my favorites in my adolescence and youth, but with the passing of time, the rush of adulthood and also the migration of friends with whom I used to spend those moments, I have stopped frequenting them.
But as they say, life is a wheel and we always return to the places where we lived pleasant moments. At least in passing. Those kinds of moments are comforting, so when some friends, co-workers by the way, invited me to a kind of download at the AHS headquarters, I was immediately overcome by nostalgia and I signed up.
You may be wondering what the AHS is and what it has to do with the post. Well, this acronym stands for Asociaci贸n Hermanos Saiz, an organization that brings together in my province, also in the country, young artists and offers them opportunities for their development.
What did we go there to do? A friend showed up, we can say so. Kevin, one of my students of the career of Psychopedagogy, also son of some friends, had a presentation at the Pe帽a: J贸venes en Descarga. There he went accompanied by his guitar to give us his 馃幍 and we went with him, of "embullo commission" 馃ぃ.
That's a joke. In truth we went to enjoy his art and to share among friends, although in a way we would support him during his presentation. I knew some of Kevin's songs but I'm still impressed by his way of saying. Taking advantage of the fact that we were with family, the audience was composed mostly by professors and students of the career, Kevin gave us several unreleased songs.
We enjoyed the depth of his lyrics that, saving the distance and genres, gave me the impression of listening to the Melendi of Rastas and Flamenco Rock. It was a great gift that this guy gave us!
Although the place is a small patio of an old colonial house, we met the challenge of filling it. In fact, there were not enough tables and chairs. This "over booking" was not uncomfortable at all, but rather served to liven up the unloading.
I had visited the place on other occasions but several years ago. I like the decor much better now. The walls have become works of art, street art, which gives it a very interesting touch, between modern and bohemian.
The walls are covered with graffiti. Some done by artists, others simply written in pen and ink by inspired visitors. That's something I really like about the place. Anyone can arrive and leave a phrase on the walls as a record of their visit. The space to leave your message to the world is available there.
We got there and gathered several tables. We settled as we could, where we could 馃槀, to have a good place during the little "concert". We chanted the songs we already knew and also the choruses of the new ones.
That atmosphere, which I had forgotten about for a while, turned out to be a great opportunity to share with some friends. I was also able to meet and strengthen ties with other people, with whom I had only exchanged a few words up to that moment.
Nothing, what for me started as an outing with some friends to hang out and support Kevin, evolved into new bonds of friendship. I guess that's the magic of bohemian environments
Grateful for your company until the end I leave you a friend's embrace. The text was translated into English by DeepLTranslste. The photos are taken from my personal archive.
