THE WELLS
"Having one child is more than having hundreds," my father used to say.
Having one, two, or three makes no difference.
The heart sustains itself
when you let life flow
like the current of a river
no one can stop it, even if they try.
If you don't let the water flow
you stagnate its transparency
the debris will get stuck
and the wells will appear.
If you have wells in your life
there is debris in them
and the debris, over time
multiplies, and the water doesn't flow.
Let the current flow
without leaving debris in its path
those things that prevent you from walking
and avoid the deep wells.
The deeper the wells, the less light can reach to make them transparent
because the abyss is dark,
and it is there that souls are lost.
Take care that your life doesn't become just another well
and turn into your abyss
burdening a conscience with abysses
is to stray from the light.
Where the river is born, life is born
and the only well created by the river
is built by the waterfall from above
with its constant rain of water.
