After so long, today I decided to brave the idea of posting about makeup again. With all this depression, I wasn't doing my usual makeup. It's true that I've adopted a more minimalist approach these days, but I'd been using almost two products because I didn't feel comfortable with anything. The depression really took its toll on me.
My job is all about appearance, as I have to represent a brand in front of an audience, and being presentable is what's required of me. Here's what I do for work. First, I want you to see this photo without makeup; this is what I really look like.
Después de tanto tiempo, hoy tomé la valentía de postear de maquillaje otra vez. Con todo esto de la depresión no me estaba maquillando como de costumbre, es cierto que en la actualidad he adquirido un enfoque mas minimalista pero había estado usando casi que 2 productos porque no me sentía cómoda con nada, la depresión realmente me comprimió mucho.
Mi trabajo se basa de la apariencia, ya que debo representar a una marca delante de un público y estar bien presentable es lo que se me pide, aquí les dejo lo que hago para ir al trabajo. Primero quiero que vean esta foto sin maquillaje, así es como realmente luzco.
After I have my entire skincare routine ready, the next thing I do is start with my dark circles. Changing this area of my face makes a huge difference. I begin by using a concealer similar to my skin tone, just in the corner of my eye, and then continue with a foundation I have specifically for the under-eye area. Otherwise, I don't use foundation on the rest of my face. I do all of this with a blending brush.
Después de tener toda mi rutina de skincare lista, lo siguiente que hago es comenzar por mis ojeras, solo cambiando esta parte de mi rostro hace una gran diferencia. Empiezo por utilizar un concelear similar al color de mi piel, solamente en la esquina del ojo y luego continuo con una base que tengo especialmente para el área de la ojera, del resto NO uso base de maquillaje en el resto del rostro. Todo esto con un pincel para difuminar.
I brush my eyebrows and then move to my eyes. I already had a bit of foundation on my eyelids. This was the leftover brush I used for my dark circles, meaning I used the excess product there. I only used three colors of shadow. I used a dark brown on the outer corner of my eye, and a beige shade with shimmer in the center.
Peino mis cejas y después me muevo hacia los ojos, ya tenía un poco de base en los párpados, esta fue de la que me sobro del pincel que usé para mis ojeras, es decir, utilicé el exceso del producto aquí. Solamente utilice tres colores de sombra. En la esquina externa del ojo utilicé un color café oscuro y en el centro del ojo un tono como beige con shimmer.
After many months I went back to using eyeliner, this is my favorite style I must admit and in the lower corner of the eye I applied a touch of white color, just to give the look a pop.
Después de muchísimos meses volví a utilizar el delineador, este es mi estilo favorito debo admitir y en la esquina inferior del ojo apliqué un toque de color blanco, solo para dar un pop a la mirada.
The next step is blush and bronzer. For this, I try to follow the shape of my face and notice where the cheek and cheekbones are located to apply the products respectively, first cream and then setting with powder.
Siguiente paso es el blush y bronzer, para esto trato de seguir la forma de mi cara y fijarme donde se ubican las mejillas y el hueso para aplicar los productos respectivamente, primero en crema y luego sello con polvos.
We are almost at the final stages, here I begin to seal the entire face, mainly I do baking in the areas near the dark circles and I also curl my eyelashes with these short tweezers that allow me to reach the difficult areas and apply the mascara, I added a photo where you can see the difference from one eyelash to the other.
Ya estamos casi en las últimas etapas, aquí empiezo a sellar toda la cara, principalmente hago baking en las zonas cercanas a la ojera y también rizo mis pestañas con esta pinza corta que me permite llegar a las zonas difíciles, para aplicar la mascara de pestañas, agregue una foto donde se nota la diferencia de una pestaña con la otra.
