We have come to understand that we cannot control our reality, but we can restructure the things within our control to act as a shock absorber if reality chooses to happen.
This means that the universe can actively work against us, but knowing this makes us passively prepare. We don't always have to wait for things to happen; catch us unaware and send us spiraling before we prepare.
We actively look out for ourselves, observing potential loopholes. In so doing, we're seeking stability, trying as much as possible to prevent potential damages that might be seriously infringing on our member.
So establishing diversity is one of the only ways we know how to reduce the impact of instability, this is why we endlessly Chase stability, not for the result but to reduce the impact of instability.
Life will always be uncertain, we all know this. Even with the right preparations set in place, the things we cannot control can choose to happen.
Furthermore, A bank should be one of the most secure places, because it's a financial institution. However, we all know that banks are now prone to malicious intentions and unscrupulous situations.
In the world currently, we've seen some of the biggest banks crashing. So banks are prone to being compromised because of the human element of manipulation.
However, because of the potentiality of reality happening, safety measures are kept in place, to prevent or curtail any form of breach or damage to protect people's valuables.
In fact, central banks in Nigeria now make it a rule for commercial banks to have money reserves so that any loss incurred by them will not affect customers' funds and dampen the trustable instinct that's created by the concept of banking.
Banking creates "trust vibes" and if that's dampened, then the banking sector as a whole will lose traction. So because of the risk that comes with this, measures are put in place.
We however, can never attain the perfection that comes with stability, this is because we're not machines. We inadvertently leave loopholes, hence, we're prone to mistakes and errors, this isn't our fault. As much as we're brilliant, we're flawed.
We're limited by so many things in life: emotions, human mistakes, sickness, death, and many other things.
Sometimes, we falter when it matters the most
These things happen naturally, and we spend most of our lives, trying to reduce the impact of these things.
However, we do not need perfect stability to enjoy life
.....but deep down, we cannot stop chasing. We're obsessed with having it all, and we can go to any length to achieve this. Deep within our ingenuity lies unaccountable flaws and there's really nothing we can do about it.
This fact doesn't mean we wouldn't continue nonetheless. The struggle to attain stability is not a bad one. Everyone deserves to overcome threats to their survival.
The interesting part is that human inventions will be more tailored towards preventing instability in all aspects of life and the growth become even more rapid with time.
This is because instability halts progress and the lack of progress halts innovations. Innovation is what fosters growth and development which in turn brings adequate sophistication.
Times are changing, and aiming to attain more grip over your life isn't bad, but it's more of a marathon than a race because the timeframe might span throughout our lives.
