You can do everything right and still not get the desirable result you want in life. It is not necessarily a curse; it is simply part of human life that we have to experience as human beings. As much as we have power over many things in this life, there are certain things over which our power is limited, and we simply cannot control them.
As much as we can say, “I have this and I have that,” we cannot possibly say that we have control over our lives. That is one of the things we humans do not have control over. We cannot be alive forever. This life of ours is ephemeral, and the same fate that awaits animals also awaits us.
Although not everyone believes this, there is a place for spirituality and the supernatural. There are certain things that happen in life that are beyond our control. There are also things that are done before their manifestations eventually appear in the physical realm. But, as I said, this is not something everyone has to believe. It is simply what some people believe, and everyone has the right to their own beliefs and to trust what they choose to trust.
I have seen people who believe strongly in supernatural things, while others believe that things simply happen by chance and that there is nothing above us controlling them. All of these are matters of belief, no matter how we look at them. We all have our opinions, and we cannot force our beliefs or opinions on others. Perhaps that is the right thing to do.
All that being said, we have to face whatever life brings our way, whether good or bad. We have little control over natural disasters and even sickness. There is a saying that a sickness that will claim a person’s life will eventually do so, with little or nothing we can do about it, while a sickness that will not claim someone’s life will certainly come and go. That is life, anyway, and we have to live it no matter what.
There is a saying that no one can pass through this life without facing one challenge or another. We just have to keep our faith alive without grumbling too much or becoming weary. Life will sometimes test our patience, but we just have to keep believing that all will be well.
In my last post, I talked about my daughter and said that I never believed I could spend two days in the hospital, let alone spend over a week and still be there. I keep my hope alive and believe that she will get better and be well again. We will certainly go home soon after all the series of tests, scans, and treatments. I hope we can leave as soon as possible.
