I joined the chain 3 months before the bull market and when the market started exploding, I had no idea what was happening. The coin exploded unbelievably and many fellows were buying cars, living luxury lives and a lot of people made the mistake of thinking that this would last forever. They never really took profit to reinvest, they just sold everything for luxury living and felt the market was finally indestructible. Like them, I didn't have an idea of what was happening, but I knew the law of gravity affects everything physical.

"Whatever goes up inevitably comes down" I was principled enough to understand this. Although I didn't have much to sell, I only won a few contests here and there. I spoke to a few people, telling them to save whatever they'd sell for the rainy days. Many completely sold all and burnt the rainy days, some felt the coin would keep climbing and never took profit because of their greed. Since I was new, I never did fail because I understood and relied on my principle of assumption.

I assume a lot of things, and while some people might call it anxiety disorder, I feel it's peculiarly seeing reality and dealing with it if I could. What was on my mind then was that "What if this coin crashed so bad?" No one was thinking the way I was. They felt I was too negative-minded, but that mindset kept me from living like they did. A lot of people feel that being too uptight makes you a pessimist, but then we forget to understand that being mentally active is not just about pessimism.

When I was working 8 years ago I couldn't afford internet to use my phone, so I made a deal with my boss and he bought me internet access every week, I assumed that one day he might eventually stop, even if he had no reason to, at that particular time. However something happened and he eventually stopped, but I had prepared beforehand in case he decided to stop. While I could have remained blindly optimistic, I might have stayed blinded by the parameters of reality to change the preexisting condition.

I'm an assumptive addict, and it helps me
to see the different versions of life that are realistically possible.

For example, when BTC was 17 to 18k in the bear market of 2022, I pictured many positive and negative reactions and what my next course of action might be, inasmuch as I hoped, reality can go against you and this is why life sucks. Also, I have pictured BTC at 170k and Hive at $7 in the past. Doing some basic calculations around that figure and even planning on the best strategies that might work.

Why is this?

I do not like being caught off guard. Whether it's by scarcity or abundance. Inasmuch as we think being unprepared for abundance is dangerous, being unprepared for scarcity is even more dangerous. Now, hive might not see $7 in the coming run, but it should see $4 or 5 at the peak. This price limitation is so that I can prepare for different possibilities and still not be caught off guard.

I also pictured a possibility where we might not exceed $3.5. while this is slightly unlikely, anything is possible. This shows that being assumptive is not all about being negative, it's about accepting that any reality you can imagine is possible. I've been caught off guard by the death of my only sibling, now I've assumed so many things and the different realities in which we could have saved him, and it keeps me agitated, restless, and depressed. Simply put, I felt I didn't do enough to help me, and I've been seeking God to help me overcome the guilt. This is heightened because of my health condition.

I've had multiple diagnoses and this scares me every day. It's made me imagine so many "what if's". It's like sleeping on broken bottles. My mind is alert, it makes my emotions heighten. There's no day I don't imagine a million possibilities using the parameters that are viable and visible to me. I mix it up and establish an equilibrium and for the sake of mental health, I can still manage to switch everything off and have a 6 to 7 hours nap every night. If you're not an assumptive person then you're limiting yourself from truly imagining the millions of things that are likely to happen.

When you begin to apply assumptive principles, it helps you to prepare for possibilities. Some people are limited to their plans, how they might handle the market, and all the abundance that comes with it, but being a mental simpleton makes you susceptible to surprises. Anything can happen to anyone, so leaving the comfort zone of the things you deem to be only possible will widen your mental scope.
