While growing up, many of us have a clear picture of what our life will look like when we grow up or what we've pictured our lives to be like; however, that isn't always the case for everyone. The truth is that some people actually manage to get what they've pictured, while some even get beyond that, but the vast majority have to settle for less, and this can be devastating, painful, and annoying given the fact that you've to struggle relentlessly and still not be able to afford the kind of life you've always wanted for yourself. Below I'll share my personal story with y'all, so without further ado, let's get to it.
The truth is that while growing up, just like everyone, I've pictured my life to be filled with lots of comfort, luxury, and a peaceful lifestyle, but the reality is that I can't boost if having that luxury or comfortable lifestyle I pictured back then, although the peaceful lifestyle is a reality, probably because that's down to my personal choice and, unlike others, that isn't down to my decision alone but also down to fate, opportunities I'm open to, and several other circumstances that are beyond my singular decision.
Reflecting on my life, I can't help but feel down because the truth is that I don't have a long duration to enjoy the freedom of childhood, given the fact that I've started hustling for myself right from when I was in junior high school, and that's not to forget the fact that I've been hawking from my primary school days. For someone who has gone through all those, the least I expect is to turn my life around for good. The truth is that I tried, but the reality is that life happens and my expectations haven't come true, but the fact is that I'm not giving up and I'm still in the business or making sure my tomorrow is alright.
At this age, I actually thought I'd be living in a house of my own, have financial freedom, and be living a decent lifestyle with my family. Although I haven't accomplished as much as I expected for my future, I'm still content, but my contentment doesn't mean I should give up on my dream or settle for less. While being contented, I'm putting in the work and grabbing opportunities that come my way so that my tomorrow will be better than my today and that I'll be able to make the rest of my life, the very best of my life.
