Sometimes I get the feeling that there are users who likes to open my post on Hive when they see it pop up on their feed, they'll sometimes skim through, read and then they don't leave a comment.
Sometimes a few will leave a dust vote to show they interacted or read the post. A particular person I know is always coming back to my post to read it, they leave some form of "upvote" and then leave.
Sometimes I wish this fellow could just drop a comment and tell me why they drop by everyday without leaving a comment, but I guess I'll be asking them for too much.
This is the era of consumption without feedback, people just want to read, watch without having to say much, and if you create contents regarding to crypto, most people don't actually much to say because they're probably not motivated enough to say anything; they're broken, tired jaded, and probably in regret and sadness.
I think people like this are probably just hibernating, they have a different ideology of what crypto is but they just don't want to offend people with their ideas, instead all they do is listen to the opinion of others, consume more content to understand the sentiment of others, even though they've sold off whatever they have left.
They're financially out but emotionally attached to the system.
There are others like this too. They're financially out with their money but they're still hanging around to throw the "I told you so" insinuations.
They're happy they left the system earlier, and try as much as possible to laugh at those who believe in the system whenever they get the chance to do so.
They love the adrenaline, they love the "thank God I left that shit hole" feeling whenever they stroll around, and somehow you wonder why they can't just leave and stay away completely.
It's the thrill. Let's be factual crypto; alt project can be an emotional rollercoaster some people are very lucky while some others are not, but the lucky ones are always trying to still stay around and continue to check if their decision to leave was actually the right one.
I'm sure a lot of people are currently in the "what happened this cycle?" State of mind.
Because we never hit enough crescendo and all that bullishness have become nothing; turned into confusion and sadness.
Overall it's not over, the short-term sentiment is just what is not looking good, but almost 100% of people are not futuristic by nature. We like to judge tomorrow with today, with experientially proven to alway work all the time. However, it's what it is.
When it comes to crypto contents, no one is interested in the analysis or outlook of crypto anymore.
Or maybe they're interested but they just don't have any comments to make which is what I initially mentioned.
I think this generally creates lack of interest in web3 content creation. Even on YouTube and Twitter, no one is interested in crypto content anymore unlike in 2023 to 2025.
In 2024, there were a lot of play2earn web2-web3 games that farmed users for revenue, but because they promised airdrops and money, people were hugely interested in these contents and it made many people become crypto creators and they monetized these contents through different platforms.
So crypto not doing as well in the last cycle affected a lot of personnel and sectors which created a negative net for creators and builders across web2 and web3 platforms, but don't give up if you're a creator, these things can turn around when we least expected.
