The sky of Cuba in summer always has something to tell. In the mornings it usually shows itself clean, with a light blue that transmits calm and freshness. It is a blue that makes everything look more alive, the palms, the trees and even the buildings illuminated by the sunlight.

But summer is characterized by being a month of rains, due to the strong heat, and this also changes the landscape. In the afternoons the sky transforms and changes its white clouds for others of dark color, that appear heavy and threatening, announcing storms that are never absent in this season. The clarity of the morning becomes a gray that covers everything, and the sound of the thunder and the rain falling become the protagonists.

After each downpour, summer reminds us that it is still present. The sun returns with strength and sometimes manages to go through the drops of water that still remain in the air. It is in those moments when magic happens, a rainbow is drawn in the sky, like an unexpected gift that breaks the routine of the afternoon.

When night falls, the most beautiful are the sunsets. The sun says goodbye with orange, blue and golden tones that color the horizon. It is a simple but unique landscape.

The sky is a daily surprise, that each day offers us a different and unique way of looking at the sky.

El cielo de Cuba en verano siempre tiene algo que contar.
En las mañanas suele mostrarse limpio, con un azul claro que transmite calma y frescura. Es un azul que parece que todo se vea más vivo, las palmas, los árboles y hasta los edificios iluminados por la luz del sol.

Pero el verano se caracteriza por ser un mes de lluvias, debido al fuerte calor, y esto tambien cambia el paisaje. En las tardes el cielo se transforma y cambia sus nubes blancas por otras de color oscuras, que aparecen pesadas y amenazantes, anunciando tormentas que nunca faltan en esta temporada. La claridad de la mañana se convierte un gris que lo cubre todo, y el sonido de los truenos y la lluvia al caer se vuelven los protagonistas.

Después de cada aguacero, el verano nos recuerda recuerda que sigue presente. El sol regresa con fuerza y a veces, logra atravesar las gotas de agua que aún quedan en el aire. Es en esos momentos cuando ocurre la magia, un arcoíris se dibuja en el cielo, como un regalo inesperado que rompe la rutina de la tarde.

Cuando cae la noche, lo más bonito son los atardeceres. El sol se despide con tonos naranjas, azules y dorados que colorean el horizonte. Es un paisaje sencillo pero único.

El cielo es una sorpresa diaria, que cada día ofrece nos regala una forma diferente y unica de mirar el cielo.
