I was scrolling through some old photos again tonight...
And this time, I was actually looking for something specific. I used to take snap shots, screen shots and documents of my journey here on the blockchain. And I was looking for a moment that would remind me of where I've been on this journey.
But first, some context.
I recently hit another little milestone of mine. As you may have read over the past year, I stopped my powerdown in the early part of the year and made a commitment to build back stronger than ever on chain.
And this week, I hit 30,000 Hive Power.
Which at current prices, sadly isn't worth a whole lot but this leads into why I was 'scrolling' through my old photos tonight.

March 26, 2020 is when I took this screen capture.
Just after the hardfork from Steem, and things were looking pretty good huh?
I mean, wouldn't we all kill for 30 cent Hive right now? And look, I'm not going to sit and say that I'm loving the sub 5 cents that we are currently sitting at. But I want to highlight how silly the markets are...
Since March 26, 2020 the blockchain has grown in use case by leaps and bounds. I was sharing with some people on 
The apps are being built buy guys and gals that don't just wanna turn a profit...No, they actually WANT to build here because at 4 cent Hive, no one is getting rich lol
But see, that's what makes this place so special.
The people that actually want to be here and believe in it, are still here. After ups and downs, DHF drama and the lack of major adoption....Hive is still here, creating some amazing, excuse me, the best #web3 platform on any chain.
But there's another reason I want to highlight this....
30 cents wasn't even our all time high!
In fact, it was not even close to this....In fact, it blew it out of the water when we hit our all time high. So remember, stop looking at the price of this token to understand it's value and potential value to the blockchain space.
We truly do have something incredible here and it's really only gotten better since 2020. Yup, the price is low...In fact, I think we're getting close to the all time lows of this chain's history yet...I'm still here.
You are still here.
The devs and witnesses are still here.
At least the ones that matter ;)
As for my journey...30,000 Hive power is just a step in the direction I want to go. I still want to grow my holdings here to be an actual influence and help others here on chain.
That's the best kept secret about Hive...It really does shine when people are supporting other people.
