We're in the middle of april and is the last moment for to eat them in the right season, this evening for dinner i will make rice with artichokes.
We need (for two person):
How to prepare:
-Cut to very thin dade the shallot, them don't need water.
Put 2 spoon of oil in a cooking pan and put the garlic with skin to brown
When the garlic is brown remove it and put shallot (not all, you need some for the cooking of the rice) to make the same but just for 15/20 seconds
At this point, sprinkle the onions with a ladle of vegetable broth and then put the artichokes and when they will be ready taste it and decide how salt and pepper put
Now put in a cooking pot 1 spoon of oil the shallot that remain and the rice, fry them for 1 minute and after put the glass of wine. Remember: you have to turn the rice often!
When the wine has evaporated use the broth to cooked the rice: put some and wait, and then again and again.. till the the half cooked, at that moment add the artichokes
Wait just some minute and don't forget to turn the rice
When is ready turn of the fire, put the butter inside and turn the rice untill the butter will be completely melted
The rice is ready!
Now just eat and drink the wine and have fun!!
