Well, it depends on how you see the word feeling small. There is a big difference between humility and being insulted. If it is you being humble in order to make peace or gain something positive, then it would be that I have been made small before. That was when I was at the work place, the Manager was in a fury and asked me to get out of his office in the presence of my juniors and I felt hurt inside but I had to obey because I knew what was at stake. Yes, it was an insult to me but that was me being humble and it paid when the next day, he took me out for lunch, apologized, gave me two days off and a weekend bonus.
