Today, I had a little accident by stubbing myself with a machete. And the weird thing was that I wasn't even using the machete.
I was simply minding my own business, and enjoying cutting the grass, when the unexpected happened.
While cutting the grass, I was going backwards on this little piece of grass and I stabbed my left leg into the machete, that was sticking out on a truck of tree, where we cut the coconuts.
I mean, who just walks into and stabs themselves on a machete.
What are the chances of that?
The machete went about 1cm deep into my leg and it hurt pretty bad and it still hurts, especially when I am standing.
It wasn't supper bad, the only thing that was worriesome, was that, the machete had a bit of rust on it from all the rain we've been having.
Right away I washed it, since the blood was coming out and put a lot of alcohol on it. Then I just kept the cotton with alcohol on it with a bandate for the rest of the day.
When I removed the bandate, I applied some myrrh essential oil, which is absolutely amazing in stopping the blood and healing/ closing the wound.
What a freeky, small, but also could be dangerous accident, if you get infected with something, but hopefully, I'll be just fine.
I could get a injection to protect me from getting infection, but I think the alcohol and myrrh oil will keep me safe.
My husband keeps on warning us this week, to be careful because this is accident time right now, according to astrology.
This would make total sense, because there is no explanation for this accident.
