Today is a rainy day, but it didn’t stop me from picking some of my mustard greens from my garden. I also have enough lettuce leaves for a salad, but I decided to wait for another meal to harvest the lettuce.
I am very pleased with the amount that I was able to harvest. I picked enough greens for two servings once they ate cooked down some.
I also cooked some monk fish which is known as the poor man’s lobster. The taste of the monk fish reminds me of lobster and also Mahi Mahi.
My greens were delicious and very tender. It did not take long at all for them to cook. I’m looking forward to having greens all summer.
