This is one of those initiatives that does something healthy for my body; as you know, a walk has many benefits for various parts of our physique.

Vivo en una ¨ciudad¨: con mucha presencia natural, y es algo que siempre destaco de los arquitectos e ingenieros que desarrollaron nuestras calles, que tuvieron la visión de dejar muchos espacios para que la naturaleza se desarrolle. Esto es algo que muchas ¨ciudades¨: del mundo están haciendo: restauraciones para incorporar más ¨verde¨: al microcentro.
I live in a "city" with a strong natural presence—something I always highlight about the architects and engineers who designed our streets, as they had the vision to leave plenty of space for nature to flourish. This is something many "cities" around the world are doing: carrying out restorations to incorporate more "greenery" into the city center.

Como saben, somos una familia a la que nos encanta caminar, y es algo que nos gusta hacer en compañía de nuestros seres queridos. La caminata comenzó en un ¨barrio¨: que en muchas otras oportunidades les había dado a conocer. Este es de esos espacios que a uno le encanta caminar, sobre todo por lo que le mencioné anteriormente; hay mucha presencia natural, y caminar por sus calles una siente placer al hacerlo.
As you know, we are a family that loves walking, and it is something we enjoy doing in the company of our loved ones. The walk began in a neighborhood that I have introduced to you on many other occasions. It is one of those places where walking is a delight—especially for the reason I mentioned earlier: there is an abundance of nature, and strolling through its streets brings a sense of pleasure.

Si bien es verdad que no hemos caminado mucho, hay zonas del microcentro que los barrios no abarcan muchas cuadras, y es lo que hizo que la caminata de esta semana iniciáramos en un barrio y concluyéramos en otro hermoso ¨barrio¨: donde están haciendo algunas mejoras en la vía pública para ordenar el tránsito vehicular.
While it is true that we didn't walk very far—since the neighborhoods in the city center don't span many blocks—this week's walk took us from one neighborhood to another beautiful "neighborhood" where public space improvements are currently underway to better organize vehicular traffic.

Como les menciono anteriormente, la ciudad ha sido creada pensando en el ¨medio¨¨ambiente¨, hay mucha presencia natural en nuestras calles y, como está sucediendo en muchas ciudades del mundo, se están incorporando en la vía pública ¨adoquines¨: que permiten el crecimiento de las hierbas para que haya mayor presencia natural. Es verdad que las restauraciones que se están haciendo en esta parte del microcentro están pensadas en el ordenamiento ¨vehicular¨: los parterres que están incorporando y que pueden ver en las fotografías, que, además de hermosos, permiten el desarrollo de plantas, que será fundamental para mitigar el ¨impacto¨¨ambiental¨. Me encanta caminar por nuestras calles y ver restauraciones que tendrán un impacto positivo en estas calles.
As I mentioned earlier, the city was designed with the environment in mind; there is a strong natural presence on our streets. Furthermore, as is happening in many cities around the world, "pavers" are being installed in public areas that allow grass to grow, thereby increasing the presence of nature. It is true that the restoration work currently underway in this part of the city center is designed with vehicular traffic organization and improved road safety in mind. The new planting beds—which you can see in the photos—are not only beautiful but also allow for vegetation growth, a key factor in mitigating environmental impact. I love walking through our streets and seeing renovations that will have a positive effect on the area.
