Después de la poca lluvia que cayó la semana pasada volvieron aparecer algunos hongos con la humedad del terreno. Mientras caminábamos por el predio me puse muy feliz al ver a este hongo, que en primera instancia pensé que se trataba del hongo llamado ¨Neolentinus¨¨lepideus¨:  pero la forma hundida en la parte central superior me hizo dudar por eso recurrí a¨Google¨¨Lems¨:  para su identificación. Nuestra herramienta lo identifico con el nombre de ¨Lentinus¨¨tigrinus¨: este tipo de hongos se desarrolla sobre troncos o ramas de árboles en estado de putrefacción

After the little rain that fell last week, some mushrooms reappeared with the humidity of the ground. As we walked through the property I was very happy to see this fungus, which at first I thought was the fungus called ¨ Neolentinus¨¨lepideus¨:  but the sunken shape in the upper central part made me doubt that's why I resorted to ¨Google¨¨Lems¨:  for identification. Our tool identified it with the name of ¨Lentinus¨¨tigrinus¨: this type of fungi develops on trunks or branches of trees in a state of putrefaction

Después de haber encontrado una variedad de hongo estaba más tranquilo, ya había hecho algunas tomas para mi próximo post, ahora era el momento de concentrarme y ver bien por donde caminaba, no vaya a ser que por la poca visibilidad terminara pisando algún hongo, así fue que halle a este hongo escondido entre las malezas. Mi ¨herramienta¨¨favorita¨:  lo identifico con el nombre de ¨Lactarius¨¨pubescens¨:  su forma, falta de pelitos y el lugar de su habita me ha hecho dudar. Google Lens es una gran herramienta, pero en ocasiones por nuestras fotografías puede que lo identifique con otra especie. Yo pensé que se trataba de un hongo llamado ¨trompeta¨¨peluda¨, pero resulto ser ¨Lentinus¨¨crinitus¨:  otro tipo de hongo que prefiere la superficie en descomposición de tronco de árboles

Estas dos variedades de hongos son muy parecidas, por eso llegue a pensar que se traban de una especie de hongos conocidos como ¨Lentinus¨:  este tipo de hongos tiene una gran variedad y es muy posible que los dos hongos que encontramos esta semana sean de la misma especie, pero esta es solo una suposición, por eso lo identifique como lo he hecho con nombres de especies diferentes. Algunos hongos ya estaban en proceso de putrefacción, me pareció bien mostrarles cómo se van deteriorando

These two varieties of mushrooms are very similar, so I came to think that they are a species of fungi known as ¨Lentinus¨:  this type of mushroom has a great variety and it is very possible that the two mushrooms we found this week are of the same species, but this is only a guess, that is why I identified it as I have done with names of different species. Some mushrooms were already in the process of rotting, I thought it was good to show them how they are deteriorating

Lo que más me gusta de participar en este ¨FungiFriday¨:  es la aventura que vivo en el predio mientras busco los hongos, y lo entretenido que resulta al momento de identificar la especie de hongos que has encontrado, dar con la descripción correcta requiere de tiempo y dedicación, y en el proceso, uno aprende mucho de los hongos. Siempre confió en las imágenes que toma nuestra ¨nikoncoolpixb500¨ al momento de identificar de que hongo se trata.

My favorite thing about participating in this ¨FungiFriday¨ :  is the adventure that I live in the property while looking for the mushrooms, and how entertaining it is when identifying the species of mushrooms that you have found, finding the correct description requires time and dedication, and in the process, one learns a lot from mushrooms. He always relied on the images taken by our ¨nikoncoolpixb500¨ when identifying what fungus it is.
