After several weeks we found ¨mushrooms¨¨jelly¨ (¨FungiFriday¨) again.

Que genial que haya llegado el viernes, día en que visito esta maravillosa ¨FungiFridayCommunity¨:  para darles a conocer fotografías de los hongos que se crecen en la ciudad en donde vivo. Esta semana volvimos a encontrar bonitos hongos para participar del ¨FungiFridayContest¨: una hermosa iniciativa de nuestro amigo @ewkaw. Esta ha sido una de esas semanas ambiguas, para algunas cosas los días han pasado muy rápido, y para otras pasaron a cuenta gota, es lo que sucedió esperando la llegada de este día para participar de este genial concurso

How great that Friday has arrived, the day I visit this wonderful ¨FungiFridayCommunity¨ :  to show you photographs of the mushrooms that grow in the city where I live. This week we found beautiful mushrooms again to participate in the ¨FungiFridayContest¨: a beautiful initiative from our friend @ewkaw. This has been one of those ambiguous weeks, for some things the days have passed very quickly, and for others they passed slowly, this is what happened waiting for the arrival of this day to participate in this great contest

Para la búsqueda de hongos de esta semana no tuvimos que salir de casa, en esta oportunidad la naturaleza nos acercó unas hermosuras a nuestra propiedad. Una mañana como tantas otras salimos a sentarnos al fondo de casa a compartir unos ¨mates¨ con mi esposa, y fue allí que lo volvimos a ver. Conocimos a este hongo hace más de un mes en el predio que está cerca de casa, ese día nos sorprendimos mucho, no solo por ser la primera vez que los veíamos personalmente, más bien por su rara apariencia y vivos colores

For this week's mushroom hunt we didn't have to leave home, this time nature brought us some beauties to our property. One morning like so many others we went out to sit at the back of the house to share some mates with my wife, and it was there that we saw him again. We met this mushroom more than a month ago on the property near our house, that day we were very surprised, not only because it was the first time we saw them in person, but also because of their strange appearance and bright colors

Para serles totalmente sincero, no tenía pensado encontrar hongos esta mañana, y mucho menos en la mesa donde nos sentamos a diario a tomar mates con Gabriela. Lo primero que vimos fueron unos pequeños pelos amarillos sobre la mesa, y luego nos dimos cuenta que la mesa estaba plagada de hongos en varios rincones. Este hongo pertenece a los ¨Heterobasidiomycetes¨:  un tipo de hongo que comúnmente se desarrolla en troncos de árboles

To be totally honest, I wasn't planning on finding mushrooms this morning, much less at the table where we sit every day to drink mate with Gabriela. The first thing we saw were some small yellow hairs on the table, and then we realized that the table was infested with fungi in several corners. This fungus belongs to ¨Heterobasidiomycetes¨:  a type of fungus that commonly develops in tree trunks

Esta vez quise saber más sobre estos hermosos hongos, y me puse a investigar en la web, no ha sido fácil encontrar la información, y al parecer su nombre científico seria ¨Calocera¨¨viscosa¨:  y como pueden ver se han desarrollado en unos ¨tacos¨ de maderas de los bancos del ¨juego¨ de ¨jardín¨. No puedo saber que hizo que estos coloridos hongos se desarrollaran aquí, ya que hace mucho tiempo esta mesa y los bancos está a la intemperie, y nunca antes habían crecido hongos en ellos

This time I wanted to know more about these beautiful mushrooms, and I started researching on the web, it has not been easy to find the information, and apparently their scientific name would be ¨Calocera¨¨viscosa¨:  and as you can see they have developed into some ¨blocks¨ of wood from the benches from the “game” of “garden”. I can't know what caused these colorful mushrooms to develop here, since this table and benches have been out in the open for a long time, and mushrooms have never grown on them before

Por lo que pude ¨leer¨:  este hongo es comestible, y para ser honesto, al ver su textura y color te hace pensar en gomitas dulces de gelatinas y te tienta a llevarlo a la boca. No obstante, no estoy completamente seguro de su identificación, por eso me abstengo a probarlo. Nunca, pero nunca lleves un hongo a la boca si no estas totalmente seguro que es comestible. Al comprobar la presencia de estos hongos en el ¨juego¨ de ¨jardín¨ no dude un solo segundo en ir a buscar la cámara ¨nikoncoolpixb500¨ y hacer esta hermosa toma fotográfica

As far as I could ¨read¨:  This mushroom is edible, and to be honest, seeing its texture and color makes you think of sweet jelly beans and tempts you to put it in your mouth. However, I am not completely sure of its identification, which is why I refrain from trying it. Never, ever put a mushroom in your mouth if you are not absolutely sure it is edible. When you see the presence of these fungi in the "garden game", do not hesitate for a single second to go look for the "nikoncoolpixb500" camera and take this beautiful photo
